It is with much sadness that I inform you that Sarah has been in the hospital since Tuesday. She has steadly declined and is currently on life support. Sarah was the love of my life, my strength and my best friend and I will miss her dearly.
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

I am in absolute shock. I have no words. I know Sarah from the hodgkins webmagicforum.
When I saw the update I had to come to her blog. Sarah is a wonderful human being, with a beautiful spirit that has helped in my lows so many times. She has given me strength & hope when I've needed it.
I really don't know what to say, I am so mad at this disease.

I was lucky to be encouraged by Sarah on 3FC's URl. She is an amazing person words can't descibe her. She always was there for everyone when they needed that push and she did it so lovenly. You know she really cared! She spoke of you often and one could tell how much you ment to her and she to you. Please know you'll both be in my prayers.
I knew Sarah from 3fc. I didn't know her well, but she was simply a LIGHT, a lover of life, and shone through the darkness.
I am so saddened to hear this and my heart goes out to you and your family and friends.

Oh, no...Damn this disease. I don't know what to say, Lorraine. Howie and I are so sorry!! You know how much we care for you both. Meeting you and Sarah in Maryland was truly one of the best times we've ever shared with people. The laughter and stories flowed for hours - we closed up the joint, remember? I can't tell you how devastating it is to read this. I remember receiving an email from Sarah when she was first diagnosed. She had read my Hodgkin's blog and emailed me. We both did Human Resources, loved our doggies, had both lost a lot of weight prior to being diagnosed (Sarah would want me to restate that this was absolutely due to both of our hard work, exercise and strict diets), and we both had Hodgkins.
You were her rock and she loved you with all of her heart. Thank you for being with her for every step of her journey.
Anyway, I'm going to miss her so much. Gee, good thing we got the "good" cancer.

I followed Sarah's journey through her blog and also through the webmagic link posted here. I always believed that if anyone can overcome, it would be Sarah. She was so brave and strong and I am so mad that a bacterial infection took her chances to fight cancer head on. My deepest condolences to you on the loss of your Sarah and a friend to so many who never met her in person. She will be sorely missed.

Sarah was so special. I always got so much from her posts on the webmagic boards. She always gave of herself. I will miss her presence on the board greatly. It was so clear how much she loved you Lorraine and your life together and how loved she felt by you. From the start I felt a kinship with her. It is hard to believe a woman so strong taken down.
