This began as a weight loss blog in July 2004, chronicling my journey to reach that most elusive of destinations: “Babeland.” After working hard to lose 80 pounds, I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma December 17, 2004. I'm a 2-time relapser, which puts me in a tiny, unlucky minority of terminal Hodgkins survivors. It seems I won't beat this cancer, but that doesn't mean that it's beaten me.

Hi Sarah...the pictures are great...so adorable....
you will be home to him before you know it, but until then, at least you can look at photos anytime you want. Plus you can talk to him on speaker phone, like I did :) with mine.
Happy Birthday!!!!!
Hi
Just wanted to say hello and to wish you a new happy birthday.
I've been keeping up with your blog, but this is the first time I've written in awhile. When I spoke to Angie the other day, she told me to make sure I wrote, she is so invested in you and your journey, and very appreciative of all your support.
My condolences to Lorraine, it's tough to lose a grandparent, especially one that you're very close to. I'm sure that she will celebrate her life at the service and will hold onto many happy memories.
All the best Sarah, and good luck with the transplant.
Thinking of you.

That is the cutest dog ever! I hope you have him LoJack'd because I'm totally coming to lure him away with doggie biscuits. :-)
Hi, Sarah--
Angie sent me your blog address. You 2 will definitely have to meet someday.
I'm adding my Happy Birthday greetings to those of the rest of your friends. How cool to be "born" within a pre-established network of caring folks.
Good Luck!
Jeannie
Greetings! I just came across your blog and it has taken me a couple of days to catch up with all that you have been through. I’m 45 and it seems to me that we have the same area of involvement, treatment and relapse. I just had another biopsy off my left clavicle and off my neck. We are hoping that it’s still Hodgkin and has not moved into Non-Hodgkin. Should get the results tomorrow. I’m facing SCT and I must say by reading your plight it has been inspiring to me and I want to thank you sharing. At times I’ve gotten pretty emotional reading your personal and medical history but I think it has given me strength to face uncertainties that I still have to deal with. I’m in the Louisville, KY area but would travel to the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio when I need SCT. I think the next game plan will be to do more Chemo and Radiation with hope that it won’t relapse again. Anyway, my sincere thanks for allowing me to experience your process and I truly wish you the best. Alan
Sarah the big day has approached and gone on bye that is fantastic. You have weathered the battle and that is no small thing. Do not think I could talk my way through the process, matter of fact I know I could not. Lots of positive and healing wags. The girls think Louie is cute but need to take vitamins.
